Summary of Position
Individuals in this position will perform a variety of duties to maintain the physical attributes of Brookview golf course and lawn bowling rinks
Flexible hours between 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday-Friday
Shift differential will be given to staff scheduled on weekends for this position

Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
Work is primarily conducted outdoors, often under adverse weather conditions, and often within confined spaces
Employee is subject to noise while operating equipment and general noises in outdoor city environments.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone
The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position, and frequently operate both heavy and light equipment/tools consistently found in public city maintenance operations and/or construction
Staff will frequently read and interpret documents, including safety manuals and operating procedures
Staff will frequently traverse around the golf course, climb ladders, and move in confined spaces
Will frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Individuals in this position will perform a variety of duties to maintain the physical attributes of Brookview golf course and lawn bowling rinks
Responsibilities:
- Mow and aerate greens, fairways, and boundary areas of the golf course.
- Participate in daily set- up of golf course for patron play.
- Assist with adjustments and repairs of the golf course irrigation system.
- General landscaping work, including ground prep and planting shrubs, plants and flowers.
- Remove and dispose of diseased trees, shrubs, plants, and other debris as directed.
- Assist with treating turf, maintain bunkers, trim hedges, change holes, and perform other routine maintenance as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to perform responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Previous golf course maintenance experience.
- Golf maintenance equipment operation experience.
