Are you passionate about turf care and outdoor work? The City of Stirling is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Operator to join the tean at Hamersley Public Golf Course. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and safety of our golf course facilities, ensuring a premium experience for our community and visitors.
You’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for turf maintenance, irrigation, machinery operation, and contributing to seasonal care programs across our golf course.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for turf maintenance, irrigation, machinery operation, and contributing to seasonal care programs across our golf course.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement daily and seasonal turf management schedules
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment
- Safely apply fertilisers and pesticides
- Maintain irrigation systems and assist with renovations
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Identify and report workplace hazards
- Ensure work meets the City’s quality standards
- Certificate in Turf Management or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience in golf course turf maintenance
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a commercial or competitive turf environment
- A current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
- A valid National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
