Are you passionate about turf care and outdoor work? The City of Stirling is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Operator to join the tean at Hamersley Public Golf Course. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and safety of our golf course facilities, ensuring a premium experience for our community and visitors.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for turf maintenance, irrigation, machinery operation, and contributing to seasonal care programs across our golf course.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Implement daily and seasonal turf management schedules
  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Safely apply fertilisers and pesticides
  • Maintain irrigation systems and assist with renovations
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings
  • Identify and report workplace hazards
  • Ensure work meets the City’s quality standards
What You’ll Bring
  • Certificate in Turf Management or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in golf course turf maintenance
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a commercial or competitive turf environment
  • A current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • A valid National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
