Duties
- Mow, edge, and trim grass using hand tools and power tools to maintain a well-manicured appearance across the course.
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules that promote healthy turf and plant growth.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to enhance the course’s visual appeal.
- Maintain and repair landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools.
- Assist with general gardening duties like weed control, soil preparation, and pest management to keep the course in top condition.
- Conduct routine inspections of turf health and landscape features, reporting any issues or needed repairs promptly.
- Support seasonal projects such as aeration, overseeding, or new planting initiatives to improve course quality year-round.
- Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic maintenance of landscape equipment is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in outdoor settings.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of course appearance.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly in a fast-paced environment.
