This is a Full-time entry-level position in which the incumbent performs routine golf course operational procedures and golf course maintenance. The incumbent under the direct supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will be trained to use several pieces of standard maintenance equipment to perform routine maintenance practices, and to become familiar with preventive maintenance practices on equipment. He will also be expected to assist in special projects as well as perform daily routine tasks.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Mows greens, tees, and roughs.
2. Rakes sand bunkers.
3. Operates backpack and walk blowers.
4. Changes pin and tee placements daily.
5. Maintains restrooms, water barrels, and trash containers on course.
6. Operates utility vehicles.
7. Operates various rotary mowers.
8. Assists with special projects as needed.
9. Some Weekend and overtime work may be required.
10. Lifts up to and including 100 pounds unassisted.
Experience is a plus!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel and electric powered equipment, the proper methods of servicing golf course equipment, and the repair and adjustment of power mowing equipment.
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions while repairing equipment.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written direction.
Mechanical ability; ability to use common mechanical tools.
Possession of a valid driver's license
Education, Experience, and Training
High School Diploma, preferably with experience with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
