Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent
Full Time/Part-Time: Part-Time Seasonal
Employment Dates: Varies- April through November
The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting the Golf Course Superintendent in all aspects of maintaining the Golf Course grounds and associated work areas. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and will take pride in their contribution to the high quality of the Golf Course grounds. The Golf Course Maintenance Worker shall provide a welcoming experience for all members, guests, and associates.

The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting the Golf Course Superintendent in all aspects of maintaining the Golf Course grounds and associated work areas. The Golf Course Maintenance Worker shall provide a welcoming experience for all members, guests, and associates.
Essential Requirements (include but are not limited to)
- Maintain and cut grass on tee-boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes, and greens
- Maintain bunkers with mechanical and manual equipment
- Use equipment such as walking and riding greens mowers, tee mowers, fairway mowers, rough mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, push mowers and a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools
- Observe all safety practices and protocols and adhere to all policies set forth by Widder Station
- Other tasks related to the maintenance of the course and club house buildings as required by the Superintendent
- Able to work weekends and early morning shifts
- WHMIS, JOHS and First Aid training is an asset
- Previous Golf Course maintenance experience is an asset
- Interest in golf as a sport always beneficial
- Work tasks are performed predominantly outdoors and involve physical strength, endurance, and manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
- Some tasks may require walking and/or standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to exert and lift more than 50 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs regularly
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures and inclement weather
