Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and turf health
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to uphold course aesthetics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for turf care, aeration, fertilization, and soil conditioning
- Conduct lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, topdressing, and pest control to promote healthy turf growth
- Assist with landscaping projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and maintaining flower beds
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, repairs, and scheduling necessary servicing
- Support gardening tasks that enhance the overall appearance of the course environment
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or golf course groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and landscaping techniques is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers is beneficial
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of course quality
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
