Golf Course Maintenance
Storey Creek Golf Club is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team for the upcoming 2024 golf season. These positions are suited for motivated and responsible team players who enjoy physical work in a great outdoor environment.
Storey Creek is consistently rated as one of the top courses in the province. In 2017 we were rated as the 5th best value in Canada by Score Golf and the best value in BC. In 2021 we were awarded the 58th Best Public Access Facility in Canada.
Positions available are:
· 2 Full Time Groundskeepers. These positions will be 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and would start early to mid March and run until mid to late October. Rate of pay is $22.00 per hour.
· 2 Part Time Groundskeepers. These position would be well suited to High School or University students. These positions will be 4 to 5 hours per day, 5 days per week and would start after completion of the school year and run until Labor Day. Rate of pay is $20.00 per hour.
Typical tasks for both full time and part time positions include: Mowing various areas, assist with course improvement projects, assist with irrigation and drainage system repairs, bunker maintenance, range picking, weed eating and course cleanup.
Staff members receive complimentary golf, driving range use and other facility discounts.
Previous golf course experience and knowledge is an asset but is not required.
