The Agnes Irwin School, a PreK through 12 all-girls’ school in Rosemont, PA, is looking for an
experienced Golf Instructor passionate about growing girls’ participation in golf to begin in
March or April, 2024. This position will be responsible for development of a comprehensive
introductory physical education golf curriculum for grades 3-6 and implementation of the
curriculum in classes this spring.
The Golf Instructor will work closely with the Chair of the Physical Education and Wellness
Department to develop the curriculum, teach classes, ensure program continuity and conduct
professional development in golf instruction to physical education faculty.

Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive introductory physical education golf curriculum for grades 3-6
- Write lesson plans, teach and lead introductory golf physical education units for grades
- Provide instruction to physical education faculty to introduce golf instruction philosophies
- Advise Department Chair on purchase of developmentally appropriate equipment
- Maintain safety of all class participants and teachers
- At end of class units, review curriculum and lesson plans
Qualifications:
- PGA Coach certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience teaching introductory golf skills to young learners
- Evidenced ability to maintain and consistently exemplify the highest standards of
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students, faculty, staff, administration, and
- Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
