Heatherwood currently looking for a Golf Grounds Maintenance person to join our Spyring team. The groundskeeper is required to complete a large variety of tasks throughout the day. Tasks can be generally categorized as manual labor and are related to landscaping.

Heatherwood currently looking for a Golf Grounds Maintenance person to join our Spyring team. The groundskeeper is required to complete a large variety of tasks throughout the day. Tasks can be generally categorized as manual labor and are related to landscaping.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Employee expected to change cups on Greens daily.
- Operating small machinery for necessary shrub and tree trimming including hedge trimmers and hand tools
- Participating in the course set up including changing tees, picking up trash, changing cups, changing flags, fixing divots, and fixing ball marks
- Operating Mowers including: greens, fairways, rough, sidewinder, and push mowers
- Operate a powered debris blower.
- Hand rake traps.
- Employee must weed whack tee areas daily.
- Inspect and grease machinery.
- Adherence to all relevant OSHA safety protocols
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and 100 pounds with help
- Operating / legal use to drive golf carts, utility carts, motor vehicles including those with manual transmission
- Trim around benches daily.
- Training is available on small machinery and tractors
- Must have a Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
