Golf Course Grounds Maintenance

• Maximum Term Contract - Full Time until 8 November 2024
• Salary: $67,503 pa (pro-rata) + Super + Relevant Allowance + RDO
• Location: Ringwood/Croydon

Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity is available to be part of the Golf, Sportsfield and Leisure facilities maintenance team.

We are seeking a experienced Sportsturf grounds maintenance person to become part of the Golf, Sportsfields and Leisure Facilities team that has a strong work ethic and is willing to work at a variety of facilities which will include Golf Courses, Sportsfields and Leisure Facilities, with a focus on attention to detail, innovation, and continuous improvement.
You will need:

• Demonstrated experience in Turf Management or similar field.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding in contemporary turf management practices, turf renovation, and irrigation systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of large and small turf maintenance machinery.

As part of our selection process you may be required to have pre-employment checks. (Psychometric Assessment, Medical, CrimCheck and Working with Children Clearance).
