Job Summary: Golf Starter/ Golf Course Ranger Duties: Be the on-course customer service specialist for Penn Oaks Assure the orderly flow of play in accordance with the posted tee times
Rotate players as needed to ensure the flow of play Be in possession of the daily tee sheet and monitor for updates throughout the shift Promote the facility programs, events and image to the membership at all times Assist Members with finding a game when necessary Assist other outside staff as needed Post the conditions of play for the day Move around the course in reverse order, hole 18 back to hole 1 Keep player's on the pre-determined pace-of-play schedule and report any problems to the golf shop Continually check in with the golf shop personnel (25-30 minutes), even if there is nothing to report, for possible change of duties This position may perform additional duties as needed/required Physical Requirements: Lift up to 40 pounds, bend, run or sprint short distances; stand for extended periods of time, able to withstand exposure to heat, cold, and elements of nature
Hours: Part Time Positions Available Wednesday through Sunday Flexible work schedule 3- 4 Days a week Typical hours would be from 11:00AM to 7:00PM Compensation: Competitive Hourly Wage Discounted Meals on Duty Discounted Merchandise in the Golf Shop Staff Clothing Provided Playing and Practice Privileges Recommended Skills
