Functions and Responsibilities:
The GCHS Disc Golf Club is a student social group designed for students with an interest in disc golf (also known as Frisbee golf). Group activities include single and doubles disc golf rounds, clinics on strategies and techniques of the game, practice on school grounds of putting and form work, and participation in league play on scheduled weekends.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Position Expectations:
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor collaborates with the Student Activities Director and the Disc Golf Club to establish a regular practice or workshop schedule throughout the tournament season. The expectation is that the club shall meet a minimum of once per month during the playing season.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor supervises the Disc Golf Club at all practices and league play throughout the tournament season.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor collaborates with the Transportation Department and the Student Activities Director to arrange transportation and other budgetary or logistical considerations throughout the tournament season.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor ensures that the Disc Golf Club is represented at the district's 8th Grade Enrollment Nights at recruitment tables. The sponsor and student delegates must be present.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor coordinates the Disc Golf Team in leading or collaborating with other Co-Curricular Activities on a minimum of one community service project per academic year.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor coordinates with the Student Activities Director to allocate funds for club-specific purchases from the group's activity fund.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor submits a semester calendar of events to the Student Activities Director by September 15th on an annual basis.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor submits an anticipated budget to the Activities Director by September 15th annually.
- The Disc Golf Club Sponsor submits attendance logs to the Activities Director on a semester basis by December 10th and May 10th.
- August: Coordinate a regular practice schedule and arrange league play opportunities for Disc Golf Team members; Potentially participate in a fall service project
- September: Coordinate a regular practice schedule and arrange league play opportunities for Disc Golf Team members; Potentially participate in a fall service project; Submit a semester calendar of events and an anticipated budget to the Student Activities Director
