Description:
The Union League Liberty Hill Golf Course Maintenance Department is seeking individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a landscape maintenance atmosphere. The Golf Course Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance of an 18-hole golf course, and adjoining Lodge landscaping. No experience in golf course maintenance is required. All job duties can be taught.

The Union League Liberty Hill Golf Course Maintenance Department is seeking individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a landscape maintenance atmosphere. The Golf Course Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance of an 18-hole golf course, and adjoining Lodge landscaping. No experience in golf course maintenance is required. All job duties can be taught.
Applicants Can Expect:
- Workdays vary 5:00am – 2:00pm. Your desired schedule will be considered.
- Work 40 hours per week.
- Seasonal employment March 14th – November 27th
- Work holidays as needed. Most holidays are paid 1.5 x hourly rate.
- Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Employment Standards:
- Properly and safely operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, back pack blowers, shovels, rakes and other lawn care type of equipment
- Maintain and use equipment as if you owned it personally
- Keep a clean, organized and safe work area
- Communicate well and work well with other team members
- Complete job tasks in a timely manner with detail and quality
- Physically fit and able to move quickly from place to place
- Capable of walking 5-7 miles per day at a brisk walking pace
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency
- Capable of following detailed instructions
- Willing to work in varying climatic conditions including rainy, cold and hot weather
- Punctual and have reliable transportation
- Able to complete a criminal background and drug screening
- $16.00 per hour
- Uniform shirts, hat and safety gear provided
