This is a part time to full time position. Preference given to applicants that are available for the required shifts: Weekdays: 2 pm to sunset Weekends: sunrise to 2 pm and 2 pm to sunset Familiarity with golf and golf etiquette desirable. Applicants must be able to deal with public and work without close supervision. Applicants need to be able to drive golf course equipment including manual transmissions; and have some mechanical experience. Familiarity with mowers, trimmers, small engines, irrigation pumps, sprinklers and fertilizer / pesticide application is an asset. Duties include: as directed by supervisor. - mowing and trimming of golf course greens, fairways, and tees using various ride-on mowers, power mowers, leaf blowers & power trimmers (training provided). - irrigation of the course - identifying dry areas and moving of plug-in sprinklers - monitoring players on golf course for acceptable conduct and pace of play - collecting and washing of balls from driving range. - assistance with maintenance and repairs of irrigation system. - fertilize greens, top dress greens and tees and repair divots and bare spots - assist with basic servicing and adjustments of machinery.
