*Job description:* Seven Lakes Golf & Tennis Community is an active, gated 55+ residential community located in Fort Myers, FL featuring an 18-hole executive golf course and a comprehensive Maintenance Department that ensures top-tier service and upkeep. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, service-minded professionals to join our team and contribute to the outstanding experience our residents enjoy every day. This full-time position of the Golf Course Groundskeeper reports to the Director of Golf Course Maintenance. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough on golf course. * Set cups, tee place markers, maintain ball washer, and remove trash from golf course. * Rake and maintain sand traps. * Edge cart paths, edge yardage markers, string trim lake banks, flymo, blow and pick up debris. * Trim, prune, and shape trees and shrubs on the golf course as instructed. * Maintain ornamental plant beds on golf course to include weeding, mulching. * Assist in special projects and repairs as necessary. * Other related duties as required or requested. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: * One-year prior golf or grounds maintenance experience preferred. PHYSICAL / EMOTIONAL DEMANDS: * Year-round outdoor labor. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of shoveling, raking, bending, stooping.
