The Kew Golf Club was founded in 1894 and has a rich and proud history. We are one of Melbourne’s leading private golf clubs, including a meticulously maintained 18 hole championship golf course, located only 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
The Golf Course Foreman will play a vital role in ensuring the effective maintenance and advancement of our Club's most important asset. We are looking for an industry leader with a solid foundation in turf management, irrigation systems and construction.
In this role, you will support our Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and assist with the supervision and leadership of our stable and capable Golf Course Maintenance team.

Personal Attributes
- Turf Management qualification (Trade Certificate, Associate Diploma, Advanced Certificate or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, and pest control.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate and maintain a variety of grounds maintenance equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Assist with supervision and leadership of our Golf Course Maintenance Team.
- Actively plan and execute golf course maintenance tasks, irrigation management and construction projects.
- Planning, management and application of turf chemicals.
- Ensuring that all golf course maintenance tasks align with agreed internal procedures and legislated OH&S requirements.
