A day in the life
Palmer Coolum Resort is looking for a Full Time Golf Experience and Service Officer to work as an integral part of our Golf Team.
Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, we are looking for a passionate team member to further enhance the expected high standard of service we deliver to our guests and the general public. Our team are highly professional, positive and service orientated. Duties will include:

A day in the life
Palmer Coolum Resort is looking for a Full Time Golf Experience and Service Officer to work as an integral part of our Golf Team.
Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, we are looking for a passionate team member to further enhance the expected high standard of service we deliver to our guests and the general public. Our team are highly professional, positive and service orientated. Duties will include:
- Deliver five star customer service with a smile
- Provide assistance to players in preparation to tee off their game of golf
- Issue hire equipment and coordinate golf cart use
- Managing golf bookings & enquiries
- Participating in the promotion and organisation of golfing events
- Opening and closing the golf shop and assisting with retail purchases
- Product knowledge & assisting with merchandising of golf shop stock
- Previous experience in a similar role at a golf club or café/hotel/resort environment
- Flexibility to work between 5.30am-6.30pm, 38 hours,5 shifts per week
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster Sunday-Saturday & public holidays
- Demonstrate a high standard of quality customer service experience & skills
- Attention to detail and efficient time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Work well in a team environment and with diverse groups of people
- Ability to prioritise workload and use initiative to problem solve
- Be self motivated, confident, friendly, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
- Excellent personal presentation
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office would be an advantage.
- Flexible to adapt to a changing environment & work in the golf shop, café or driving range when required
- Someone who is resilient, has a sense of humour and wants to have fun while they work
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- Right to work in Australia.
