DSI is adding to its ranks in the Jackson, MS area. Come join our fast-growing team as an Event Security Officer for the Sanderson Farms Golf Championship. This is a temporary position for a weeklong event from September 30 to October 6th (Dates may change due to weather). Pay is $15.00/hr. with extended hours each day. Food and drinks will be provided by the tournament.

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our client.

Interact with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, employees, and the general public.

Regulating and directing traffic, as necessary
-
Operating metal detectors.

Conducting temperature checks.
-
Promoting safety by being alert to observe, correct and report any hazards.

Maintain visibility to ensure safety and deter unacceptable activities.

Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.
Position Requirements:

Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Have reliable means of transportation and communication

Pass all required background and drug screenings

Be customer service oriented
