About the Role
Alaqua Country Club is looking for an experienced Golf Course Equipment Operator to join our grounds maintenance team. You'll play a key role in keeping our course in top playing condition — operating mowing equipment, maintaining bunkers and tees, and handling daily course setup. If you take pride in a well-groomed course and know your way around turf equipment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Operate triplex mowers, rough units, and other turf maintenance equipment
- Perform daily course setup including cup changes and tee maintenance
- Maintain bunkers (raking, edging, and detail work)
- Weed eating, tree trimming, and general grounds detail work
- Assist with other course maintenance tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
**Required:**
- Prior golf course maintenance experience
- Ability to work early mornings and an every-other-weekend rotation
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
**Preferred:**
- Experience operating triplex mowers and/or rough units
- Familiarity with bunker, tee, and cup maintenance
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 1:20 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- Every other weekend: 5:30 AM – 8:15 AM
