About Cool Springs
Cool Springs has been a staple in the South Hills for over 40 years now and has been continuously growing. On our campus, we have the Allegheny Health Network Sports Complex, the Clubhouse, a two-story driving range, an 18-hole miniature golf course and much more!
The primary role of the Golf Shop Customer Service Associate is to assist in the day-to-day operations of, driving range, mini golf, Toptracer Bays, and indoor golf simulators at Cool Springs.
Reporting Relationship
The Golf Shop Customer Serivce Associate reports directly to the Golf Operations Manager.
Attitude
· Able to work at a fast pace
· Willingness to assist when needed to give the customer outstanding service
· Teamwork approach to the position is essential
· Dress appropriately for golf related services
Duties and Responsibilities
· Serve the public in a courteous manner in person and on the telephone
· Answer and manage phone calls for pro shop / driving range / Mini Golf / Simulators
· Serve beer and wine to eligible patrons
· Operate computer POS with facility operations software and a cash drawer
· Assist with golf shop inventory controls: stocking product, displaying product, selling product, etc.
· Keep all facility areas neat and clean, run vacuum, take out garbage, Windex windows, etc.
· Enforce and monitor CS facilities operational rules
· Understand and manage all golf related technologies
· Assist in running golf and or party events in on site
· Complete the daily duties assigned to each facility and any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor
Qualifications
· Must be 18 years of age or older and be or become RAMP certified within 6 months of hire
· Golf experience preferred
Must be able to provide own transportation to work
· Must be able to work flexible hours. Shifts include 10A -4PM or 4P-10PM
· Must be willing to follow directions and abide by the decisions of supervisors in the course of daily work
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
