Job Overview:
As Golf Course Maintenance, you'll be responsible for maintaining golf course greens, fairways, and other golf course surfaces as required, ensuring compliance with all golfing regulations and standards. Including setting course tee and cup placements, installing and repairing irrigation systems, and operating and maintaining greenkeeping equipment.

Position Description
Job Overview:
As Golf Course Maintenance, you'll be responsible for maintaining golf course greens, fairways, and other golf course surfaces as required, ensuring compliance with all golfing regulations and standards. Including setting course tee and cup placements, installing and repairing irrigation systems, and operating and maintaining greenkeeping equipment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Set golf course to include cutting cups, setting tees, repairing greens, raking bunkers, and mowing greens and fairways.
- Maintain golf course, including bunkers, greens, driving range, and tee boxes; mows bunker faces; prunes trees; performs pest control.
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems.
- Perform or oversee performance of golf cart maintenance.
- Assist in special construction projects as required.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Skills Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Ability to install, operate, troubleshoot and repair manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of USGA regulations regarding course settings.
- Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance.
- Knowledge of fertilizer and/or pesticide applications.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance activities to include placement of tees and pins, irrigation techniques, and turf care.
- Maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
