Duties
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to keep the course visually appealing and healthy
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems to ensure efficient course upkeep
- Maintain the irrigation system by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments to promote optimal turf health
- Conduct regular lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to enhance turf quality
- Assist with general gardening tasks including planting new vegetation, pruning trees and shrubs, and mulching beds
- Use hand tools for detailed landscape work and minor repairs around the course infrastructure
- Monitor course conditions daily, identify issues early, and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Prior experience or interest in landscaping, gardening, or turf management is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and lawn care techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to course upkeep
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy equipment or materials
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles and landscaping techniques is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
