GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are looking for applicants to join one of our golf course grounds staffs. We are hiring at all 5 of our Lexington City Golf Courses (full list below). We are looking for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, during the morning hours, are reliable, and take pride in a job well done. Almost all shifts work beginning at 6:00 AM each morning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be possess a valid drivers license
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Operates large mowers, tractors and other light equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
· Responsible for checking fluid levels before operating any machine.
· Responsible for reporting any abnormalities discovered while operating machinery to supervisor.
· Returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility; wash equipment at the end of each day.
· Plant bushes, shrubs, and other native plants.
· Edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers.
· Hand raking leaves and other debris.
· Weed eating around trees, bunkers, and cart path curbs.
· Must be able to service the golf course. These duties include: changing green flags, putting cups, moving rope and barricades, and moving tee markers.
· Must be able to drive turf vehicles and mowers.
· Blow cart paths with back pack blowers or riding blowers
· Perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner
· Perform other duties as assigned

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Weekdays and Weekends based on availability

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Required qualifications
· Must be able to drive turf vehicles and mowers.
· Reliable and predictable attendance.
Preferred qualifications
· Possession of a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles
· Previous experience and knowledge of grounds work.
Physical demands and work environment
· Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects
