Golf Course Equipment Manager - Heath Golf and Yacht Club
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Heath Golf and Yacht Club is a master planned golf resort community and searching for a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair all the equipment used on the golf course. Our fleet of equipment is one year old or newer. The maintenance facility boasts a 12,000 square foot shop with lots of room in the technician's designated area. This would be a great opportunity for an individual with a drive and a vision to be a part of up-and-coming golf community and set things up and take ownership of his department.
Responsibilities:
· Inspects and diagnoses mechanical repairs and defects/failures in various golf course equipment. This includes all diesel, gasoline and electric powered machines and equipment.
· Must be able to prioritize equipment repair and daily maintenance work and the set-up of reels on all reel mowers.
· Keeps detailed records of all repairs, parts inventory purchases, cost of repairs and preventative maintenance.
· Helps maintain the standards of all areas with the quality of cut of each machine.
· Oversees the shop maintenance area and also maintains a clean shop area while keeping it clean and efficient.
· Checks equipment performance on the course and makes emergency repairs to equipment to keep machinery and daily schedules moving as planned.
Requirements:
· 3 to 5 years of Mechanical experience.
· Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
· Demonstrate the ability to repair, inspect, diagnose, and repair all mechanical problems and issues that arise in the maintenance equipment.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems.
· Must be able to handle multiple duties under pressure with minimum supervision
