Primary Duties: • Maintain the golf course landscape at the highest quality to ensure the healthy growth of the golf course grasses, trees, wetlands and other applicable plant materials • Monitor the appearance and playing conditions of the golf course and address any issues with turf quality • Oversee the care and maintenance of the greens, fairways and roughs • Provide irrigation maintenance and repair • Apply fertilizer and pesticide applications • Develop and organize daily work schedules for greens keeping staff • Assist with training and supervision of staff. Required Skills The ideal candidate will have: • 1+ years experience in Golf Course Maintenance management • Diploma or certificate from a recognized turf management program • Experience in Golf course construction would be an asset • Mechanical knowledge of turf grass equipment •Knowledge of chemical and fertilizer applications as well as a valid spray license • Knowledge of use and operating standards of equipment and tools used in golf course construction and maintenance work • Highly motivated and hard working individual with strong communication and leadership skills • Ability to work in all weather conditions and capable of performing physically demanding work. Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
