Employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to adverse weather conditions that include high temperatures, rain, snow, ice, low temperatures, wet/humidity, etc.
The noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet.

This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the beautiful Rolling Meadows Golf Course. Employee will have an opportunity to be trained by supportive staff. Also entailed is the ability to develop meaningful relationships with the public who has a passion for Golf.
Applicants must have excellent customer service skills and clear oral and written communication skills. No prior work experience is required.

Position Description
Maintains and details golf carts and performs duties on the driving range.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Clean, detail and organize the golf cart fleet and cart barns.
- Pick the driving range/hill and clean golf balls.
- Parking golf carts.
- Picking up trash around the facility.
- Assists guests and members as needed.
- All other tasks Golf Shop employees would ask to be done.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Requirements
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision; communicate effectively orally and in writing; establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, patrons, and the public.
- Skilled in the use of golf carts and golf course equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to take care of golf equipment and show initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take instruction and learn quickly.
- Possesses a valid state driver's license
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves 100 lbs.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk and use hand and fingers to handle, feel and/or operate objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk, hear and communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Visual ability to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
