Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Golf Cart Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face ensuring smooth and safe transportation around our beautiful community’s golf course and recreational areas. Your enthusiasm and attention to safety will help create memorable experiences for our members and guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a lively environment while delivering top-notch guest services.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct basic duties including, but not limited to; staging golf carts, cleaning golf carts, operating the range picker, and plenishing carts with scorecards, pencils and sand.
2. Wash practice balls thoroughly and store in ball bins.
3. Return carts to cart barn, clean, and ensure all carts are in a charging status.
4. Turn off all water connections, all lights, and secure all doors prior to departing the area.
5. Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
6. Participate in all scheduled staff and safety meetings.
7. Responsible for maintaining the golf carts and cart barn, assuring the carts are running properly and sanitary.
8. Clean all outside areas in proximity to the pro shop.
9. Respond efficiently and diplomatically to customer complaints.
10. Resolve conflicts through de-escalation, negotiation, and/or corrective action.
11. Identify measures to cut waste and develop new growth initiatives.
12. Ensure serviceability, routine maintenance, and overall accountability of all department equipment and resources.
13. Maintain good public relations and interact with property owners and general public in a positive, respectful and professional manner at all times.
14. Perform any reasonable task or request that is consistent with the objectives of the position.
Qualifications
1.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2.Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
3.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
4.Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
5.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
