Position Title: Golf Cart Mechanic / Technician
Location: Phoenix
Employment Type: Full‑Time

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Golf Cart Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric and gas‑powered golf carts, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting — Identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues on electric and gas carts.
  • Preventive Maintenance — Perform routine service including batteries, brakes, tires, suspension, and charging systems.
  • Electrical System Repair — Inspect and repair wiring, controllers, solenoids, chargers, and onboard electronics.
  • Gas Engine Repair — Service carburetors, fuel systems, ignition components, and small engines.
  • Parts Installation — Install accessories such as lift kits, lights, seats, windshields, and performance upgrades.
  • Record Keeping — Document repairs, parts used, and service recommendations.
  • Customer Interaction — Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly and professionally.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in small engines, automotive, powersports, or similar fields.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems and 12V/36V/48V/72v battery setups.
  • Familiarity with Yamaha, Club Car, EZ‑GO, Evolution, Denago and others.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior work as a golf cart technician, small engine mechanic, ATV/UTV tech, or automotive technician.
  • Experience with lithium battery conversions.
  • Welding or fabrication skills a plus.
