We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our wonderful team by assisting in the Club Bar. This is a casual role, primarily involving weekend bar shifts, though additional work may be offered on occasion so flexibility is key. There may also be casual work offered in the Club Café on occasion. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, have the flexibility to multitask, a team first attitude with great communication skills. Responsibilities; > Mixing and preparing a range of simple drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic > Welcoming customers to the bar and taking orders > Processing payments > Cleaning the bar and surrounding areas to maintain a sanitary environment > Checking identification of customers when necessary, confirming customers meet legal drinking age > Determining when to refuse service based on guidelines for responsible sale of alcohol > Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies > Adhering to all food and beverage regulations In return we will offer a friendly working environment with plenty of support from the Bar Manager, the Board and other staff members. Full training and a reasonable wage will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
