We are excited to begin our search for the perfect candidates for the entry level position of Golf Attendant. This position is seasonal, with part-time and full-time hours available. There will be opportunities to work year round for our top employees. The Golf Attendant may be scheduled for Guest Services Desk, Carts, Driving Range and/or Starter.

While this outline attempts to be all encompassing, this position will evolve beyond these categories. This role is expected to anticipate business needs and to do anything that will help Westwood Plateau Golf accomplish its department objectives.

Pro Shop

• Communicate with your team to ensure the day’s reservations are being monitored for special requests, changes and new bookings.
• Prepare golf club rentals, golf cart rentals and simulator rooms.
• Answer phones in a professional manor and communicate with guests via the online messaging system.
• Assist customers with purchases and have a general knowledge of products in the pro shop.
• Maintain a tidy work space.
• Complete transactions using our point of sales system and debit/credit machines.

Range

• Collect range balls using the sand pro machine when conditions permit
• Pick tough to reach range areas with pickers prior to the range opening or after the range closes for the day.
• Maintain tidiness of work areas for safety
• Make note of maintenance needs and communicate to mechanics

Starter

• Communicate with golfers and direct groups to tee box number one in a timely manor.
• Organize cart distribution and assist with additional golfer requests
• Inform golfers on proper golf cart usage and daily safety hazards on the course.
• Maintain a tidy work space.

Carts

• Maintain a tidy work space.
• Wash and sanitize power carts before and after each use and upon daily course closing.
• Open and close the course gates, place flag pins in proper locations.
• Assist with on course events and power cart failures.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid class 7 (N) or class 5 (full) license. A copy of your driver’s license will be kept on file until the end of the season.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40 per hour
