Essential FunctionsThe following duties are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive: Assist in selling merchandise and in the collection of fees; assist in controlling play on the course; responsible for keeping the golf shop neat and clean at all times; maintain a sufficient supply of golf carts to be rented and keep range machines full and bucket supplies adequate; stock and clean merchandise; responsible for changing displays.Answer phone calls and fulfill customer needs.Deliver excellent customer service daily.Oversee the work of personnel assigned to the area; responsible for the opening and closing of the clubhouse; promote the game of golf.Perform related work as required and assigned
Typical Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: Thorough knowledge of the game of golf, the rules of golf, golf etiquette, and computers.SKILL: Demonstrated skill in the operation of equipment necessary to perform the functions of the job.ABILITY: Use cash register, make change; understand/carry out oral and written instructions; maintain positive public relations; function independently with minimal supervision; perform light physical labor
Work weekends and holidays.TRAINING: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCE:No specific requirement; must have thorough knowledge of game of golf; cash handling experience desired, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Special Requirements Must be at least 18 years or older
Seasonal employees are entitled to a free Recreation Center pass while they are active.Indian Peaks Employees receive free golf Monday through Thursday, and after 2 pm on weekends and discounts on merchandise and food and beverage. Recommended Skills
