*OVERVIEW *– Ensure timely flow of golf traffic on the Mountain Vista Golf Courses in coordination with the Golf Shop staff. Provide immediate service to players in case of an emergency. Ensure that all support and service is conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the standards, goals and objectives of the Director of Golf and the Sun City Palm Desert Community Association *SOME DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following: Other duties may be assigned. · Patrol and monitor golf courses to prevent unauthorized persons from using facilities. · Maintain proper spacing on the golf course to avoid delays. · Communicate with the Golf Shop on a regular basis · Determine pace of play and anything unusual and reports to Golf Shop. · Coordinate with Golf Shop staff for Starter Sheet and radio. · Ability to enforce pace of play policies, as well as other policies pertaining to the Community Association Rules and Regulations. · Caution players against tearing up turf or otherwise abusing golf courses. · Ability to complete a written Incident Report. · Coordinate with Guest Service Attendants any mechanical cart malfunctions. · Responsible for cleaning and storing assigned golf cart. · Assist staff with operational needs. · Maintain accurate timekeeping records on the Time Log and the clock. · Attend Staff Meetings · Incorporate safe work practices in job performance. · Perform other duties as directed by the Pro Shop Management. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
