Job Description
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have a passion for golf and creating memorable golf experiences
- Experience in organizing, promoting and executing member events and leagues.
- Interest in building lasting relationships with The Haven Country Club's members.
- Have outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in fulfilling special orders, merchandising and golf shop operations.
- Actively participate in the empowerment and professional development of the other members of the golf staff.
- Be creative, with special attention to detail and organization.
- PGA/LPGA Membership Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Private Club Experience
- Proficiency with Golf Genius Tournament Software
The First Assistant will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and other Assistant Professionals in the following areas:
- Tournament Operations
- Merchandising
- Individual and Group Golf Instruction (instructors receive 75% of lesson fees)
- Junior Golf Programming (instructors receive 75% of Group instruction fees)
- Staffing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going on at one time.
- 75% instruction income
