Surfers Paradise Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic candidate for full-time work. Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Reporting to the General Manager, the purpose of this role is to assist in the smooth operation of the Club’s golfing activities in which satisfaction of our membership is the highest priority. Applications close 19th February, although position may be filled prior if a suitable candidate is found. Immediate Start available.

Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  Maintain the Club’s MiClub computerised golf competition system and website
• 
  Prepare and manage timesheets, competition and leaderboard set ups.
• 
  Closing Competitions and posting results
• 
  Liase with Pro Shop Professionals on a daily basis
• 
  Provide support for the Captain, Lady Captain and Match Committee
• 
  Assist in the production of the annual fixture book
• 
  Manage Membership subscriptions and renewals
• 
  Assist with the running of the Club’s special golf events including the South Pacific Womens Open
• 
  Other activities required from time to time to enable the smooth operation of the Club’s golfing activities
• 
  Manning the reception desk, answer phones and associated duties

Key Skills

Key skills required by the position are:

• 
  Proficient in MiClub & MiMembership (highly regarded)
• 
  Golf Knowledge (essential)
• 
  Excellent customer service skills
• 
  Extensive oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• 
  Ability to work independently with an attention to details
• 
  Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
• 
  Occasional weekends required. (approx. 3 per year)
