Golf Cart and Electric Shuttle Technician Department: Maintenance Employment type: Seasonal Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling, as-needed Reports to: Director of Operations and Director of Maintenance Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose golf cart and electric shuttle issues
- Perform repairs needed to golf carts and electric shuttles to include but not limited to: electrical/wiring, battery testing/replacement, hub/bolt/tire replacements, install replacement parts, light bulb replacement, etc.
- Perform scheduled, routine maintenance on golf carts and electric shuttles
- Perform schedule internal inspections on golf carts and electric shuttles
- Maintain all proper safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members
- Follow all park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of electric golf cart repairs required
- Knowledge of electric shuttle repairs preferred
- Ability to reference and properly utilize golf cart and electric shuttle service manuals, including wiring diagrams and part diagrams
- Knowledge of proper usage of tools and equipment
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate team members and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 50 lbs, team lift for heavier objects
