Are you passionate about golf and have a knack for organisation? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Administrator to join our dynamic team at Gosnells Golf Club (GGC), located in beautiful Perth, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service at GGC, the community's Club of Choice.

Position Summary: Reporting to the golf operations manager, you will be at the heart of our club’s golf operations, managing bookings, timesheets, competitions, pro shop inventory, and administrative duties. Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service will ensure a seamless experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bookings Management: Coordinate and process golf bookings via phone, email and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This includes producing the required reports from the online system.
  • Timesheet & Competition Setup: Prepare daily/weekly timesheets and assist in setting up and managing members' competitions.
  • Golf or Club events: Work with various parties to ensure that golf event details are communicated efficiently and effectively to members and guests.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Create, review and update the golf operations SOPs to ensure that the knowledge management of the Sport at the Club is captured accordingly.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the golf shop inventory, perform stock takes, and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, handle inquiries and support general office tasks.
  • Customer Service: Deliver top-tier service to members and guests, addressing concerns and promoting club events and services. This requires being at the pro shop counter at least two days of the week.
Key Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of proficiency in golf-specific software such as MiClub is a plus, but training on the job will be provided
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems (e.g., SWIFTPOS) and inventory management is a plus, but training on the job will be provided.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to multitask during busy periods.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Previous experience in golf club administration or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of golf course operations is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with stock control and inventory management is preferred but not required
  • Encompass hospitality values and customer service is a must.
Work Environment:
  • Office-based predominantly with at least two days at the pro shop counter providing customer service.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Roster is negotiable for the right candidate for a full time 5 days roster across Monday to Sunday.

All hours required to be on site. Salary dependent on experience.

Great starter role for someone out of uni or someone looking for a career change in golf, but with an administration background or experience.
