*Job Summary* Join our vibrant Food Expo team at a prestigious golf club, where your passion for food and exceptional customer service will shine! As a Food Expo staff member, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining experience, ensuring that all food presentations are timely, accurate, and beautifully prepared. Your energetic approach will help create memorable moments for our guests, whether they’re enjoying a casual meal or attending a special event. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills in a dynamic and lively environment. *Duties* * Coordinate food presentation between kitchen staff and serving teams to ensure timely delivery of dishes * Assist with food preparation, plating, and expediting to maintain high standards of quality and presentation * Support food service operations during events, banquets, and regular dining hours with enthusiasm and professionalism * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests, dietary needs, or order modifications * Maintain organization in the food expo station, ensuring cleanliness and proper food handling procedures are followed * Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and assisting with setup or breakdown of dining areas as needed * Use POS systems accurately for order processing and billing, ensuring smooth transactions for guests *Experience* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred * Familiarity with food preparation, expediting, and food safety standards is essential * Experience working in banquet settings or hotel dining services is a plus * Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members * Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods * Basic numeracy skills for handling orders, payments, and inventory management * Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling procedures, and hospitality best practices is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
