Golf Cart Manufacturing - Facility Manager
Due to significant growth, Bintelli is excited to announce that we are expanding our leadership team as we seek to add facility manager to oversee our new assembly plant in Jeffersonville, IN.
While you don't need to have experience in the golf cart field, you should have experience leading a hard working, blue collar workforce. Those with hands on mechanical or electrical experience will be even more qualified! We are looking for an experienced, dynamic professional to join our team to oversee the manufacturing, distribution, and parts departments within the facility. Your employees will be a mix of assembly, paint, admin, warehouse, and finishers.
You will monitor production quality control and output metrics and recommend/implement process improvements as needed. You will participate in workforce relations and planning activities such as staff events, payroll, and minor HR duties within your staff such as hiring, 1 on 1 sessions, disciplinary actions, etc. Our teams have a lot of fun building golf carts for our dealers across the country so we want someone that is high energy! This is not a sit behind a desk position, you will be out on the production floor with your team for the majority of your day.
Training:
We are looking to hire for this position in early January and will begin interviews in December. In February, your training will take place in Ladson, SC at our 174,000sqf production facility. You will work alongside the leadership team to teach you everything you will need to be successful in your role. In March, your facility in IN will be opening and management will be on site to assist you with the opening of the facility. While in SC, you will work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and your airfare, hotel, and food will be covered. You will have the option to fly home on the weekends if you would like!
