Chef - Willunga Golf Course

Location: Willunga Golf Course

Hours: Varied-aligned to the onsite cafe, mornings, afternoons, early evenings and weekends.

Position Type: Part-Time / Casual

Are you an efficient, reliable Chef who thrives in a relaxed, friendly environment? Willunga Golf Course is looking for a dependable Chef to take charge of our kitchen.

About the Role: You will be responsible for preparing and serving quality breakfast and lunch items to golfers and visitors heading off or wrapping up their rounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items (e.g., bacon & egg rolls, burgers, toasted sandwiches, chips, and daily specials) in a timely manner.
• 
  Manage prep work to ensure seamless service during morning rushes.
• 
  Maintain strict standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and workplace cleanliness.
• 
  Monitor stock levels for service and notify management of reordering needs.
• 
  Handle occasional front-of-house customer interactions with a friendly, welcoming attitude.

What We're Looking For:

• 
  Previous experience in short-order cooking, café, or kitchen operations.
• 
  Valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• 
  Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
• 
  Punctual, reliable, and comfortable working weekend mornings.
• 
  Great communication skills and a team-player mindset.
