Award winning Bonville Golf Resort, located in Coffs Harbour on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW is considering applications for the following opportunities for an immediate start.



FULL TIME QUALIFIED CHEF

Controlling a section of the kitchen, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting the Executive Chef with all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of a la carte dishes
  • Enforcing service, presentation and operational standards and ensuring consistency and quality at all times
  • Ordering stock, kitchen supplies and equipment and control of stock levels
  • Assisting with ongoing staff training and development
  • Receiving, signing and accounting for supplies and deliveries


To be successful in this role YOU will have:
  • Trade Qualifications and practical experience
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and consistency in both your work and personal life


FULL TIME APPRENTICE CHEF

We are looking for passionate and committed applicants eager to commence a Commercial Cookery apprenticeship. Working under the direct supervision of our Chef, you will learn advanced culinary and knife skills, gain knowledge of ingredients and cookery methods, use commercial equipment and prepare and cook menu items. You must be willing to learn and dedicated to your training and further studies.



To be successful in this role YOU will have:
  • An obvious passion for food and your culinary career
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional manner
  • The ability to work well within a team and take instructions/direction well
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and consistency in both your work and personal life
  • A positive attitude, show honesty, reliability and a strong work ethic
  • The ability to comply with company policies and procedures and departmental standards and guidelines
  • Drivers Licence or on the path to getting your Licence is a must as public transport is not available in our area
