Marina/Boathouse CrewPosition RequirementsPosition Overview
The role is designed to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness for their resort by following the 3V Philosophy of Visibility, Velocity and Value. The Marina/Boathouse person is a strong sales driver, profit focused and people oriented.



The Marina/Boathouse Crew is responsible for all waterfront activities, equipment and the safe operation and maintenance of all resort boats whether on a motorized boat or non-motorized boat lake.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Operations and Sales 50%
• Greet and assist boaters upon arrival
• Operate a cash register, and credit and debit terminals (If Applicable)
• Complete paperwork such as dockage forms, daily cash balance sheets, fuel pump readings, etc.
• Pump fuel to boats (If Applicable)
• Power washing boats
• Work may involve responsibility for the leasing and renting of boat space, collection of lease/rental fees, enforcing Marina rules and assisting boat owners in proper boat handling, mooring, or other assigned marine related functions
• Equipment Management 30%
• Accurately check and evaluate equipment daily, including canoes, kayaks, fishing boats, water bikes/walkerz/balls, SUPs and paddleboats
• Ensure safety equipment is in proper working condition, including life jackets, paddles, oars and safety kits.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory records.
• Ensure all non-motorized equipment is kept clean and available.
• Ensure pontoon boat and all fishing boats and motors are clean, operable and ready for rental.
• Ensure life jackets are in pristine condition
• Property maintenance 15%
• Ensure beach is raked daily and chairs set up/organized by 8:00a.m.
• Ensure docks are in good condition and safe
• Ensure non-motorized water equipment area is clean, organized, well-presented.
• Clean Fire pits
• Weed flower beds, remove seaweed, and clean windows and floors in the marina office
• Support Duties

[*]Support Housekeeping by emptying garbage containers, clean washrooms and showers,[*]Property maintenance [*]Work safely at all times and report unsafe activities immediately to your supervisor[*]Responsibility also may include assignments in the inspection of Marina facilities in order to maintain the safety of equipment and facilities and may include performing minor maintenance and repairs, as assigned or needed.[*]Work may include the inspection of pilings, reporting repairs to be made at the facility and ensuring that repairs are completed properly.
