TITLE: Assistant / Associate Golf Professional
DEPARTMENT: Golf Operations
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Golf Professional
ACCOUNTABLE TO: General Manager

The Assistant / Associate Golf Professional at Granite Golf Club is someone who wants to be part of an amazing team and build a culture we are proud of. We are seeking a highly personable and self- motivated individual to be an integral part of the golf experience for our membership.

Our ideal candidate brings a variety of customer service skills, golf IQ and experience, and wants to contribute to a fun and rewarding working experience within our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Champion member experience though daily operations and shop sales.
• Instill pride, create passion, and provide support to seasonal back shop staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to execute member events.
• Manage daily tee sheets.
• Lead the administration of junior golf camps.
• Work together with golf committees.
• Inventory management and special-order execution.
• Club repair and re-gripping
• Club fitting and teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Rich customer service background.
• Collaborative and team oriented.
• Knowledge of the game of golf.
• Ability to prioritize various tasks.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Candidate for membership with the PGA of Canada is considered an asset.
• PGA of Canada Member, in good standing.
• PGM student or graduate.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs (word, excel, email, google).
• Knowledge of Golf Genius is considered an asset.

SCHEDULE

• Full-time, seasonal (with potential opportunity in the off-season).
• 5 days per week, some weekends, and holidays.

SALARY

• $900 / week.
• Annual bonus pay.
