Receptionist training including: front of house meet and greet, telephone enquiries, email enquiries, formal training in checking guests in and out of accommodation, managerial experience given in managing golfing members and visitors, running competitions and general receptionist and hospitality skills given. Book keeping experience also given, training in till balancing, money handling, data input and control. Receptionist Training provided in the following areas. Receptionist. - Training in dealing with phone/ face to face enquiries from customers from areas of golf, restaurant and accommodations. - Checking in of guests to accommodations/ Welcoming of guests to the restaurant. - Emails for all areas of golf, restaurant and accommodations. - Ordering of stock online as instructed. -• A basic knowledge will be taught of the Mobile Home licence agreement and be able to answer questions from walk in and phone enquiries regarding mobile home sales at Dunmore East Holiday Park. Record keeping and Book keeping In house training - - Cash handling training and skills in recording of takings in tills into daily and weekly reports. - hands on training in filling in daily change request sheet. - on-the-job training in filing of various delivery dockets. - Training in the handling and recording of invoices for all areas of golf, restaurant and accommodations. - Skills taught in recording of payments of golf membership and updating of their golf profiles with payments - monthly billing of membership. - Skills taught in recording of payments of Mobile home owners and various other Holiday Park guests and updating their profiles with payments and contacting of persons for payment as appropriate. - Formal on-the-job training in reconciliation of bank account payments to outstanding invoices and flagging of supplier accounts to be paid at month end. - VAT periods - assisting Grace in filing VAT records at various times in the year. Secretarial Training - - Organisational skills in efficient filing. - On-the-job training in annual Licence agreements signed and filed appropriately. - General PA duties ex. price comparisons and ordering of stock.
Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
