Job Title: Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Location: Lost Spur Golf and Event Center in Eagan, MN
Job Description: The Lost Spur Golf and Event Center is looking for an Assistant Superintendent. The Lost spur is a nine-hole public golf course established in 1946 along the Minnesota River. The golf course is currently undergoing several course improvement projects and renovations. Ideal applicants would have previous golf course experience and an ability to perform all day-to-day operations on the golf course. The candidate would also be hardworking, high attention to detail, ability to complete heavy lifting, and can work independently.

The responsibilities of the Assistant Superintendent:
- Assist the Superintendent with daily operations.
- Lead seasonal staff in daily projects and course maintenance.
- Ability to operate all related course equipment and learn basic equipment maintenance.
- Must be willing to learn the chemical and fertilizer application program.
- Knowledge or desire to learn turf diseases and identification of disease and stress.
- Irrigation repair and operation of Toro and Rain Bird systems.
- 2 years of golf course or related turf experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Possess or the ability to obtain a MN pesticide applicators license within 90 days.
- Salary dependent on experience.
- Local and National association dues covered by the course.
- Golf and range privileges.
- One daily meal provided by course kitchen.
