Responsibilities:
- Assist the superintendent in overseeing all aspects of landscape maintenance and construction projects
- Supervise, coordinate and work alongside of a team of laborers
- Ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for course playability and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience is an asset all of the following items
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of plant care, including pruning, fertilizing, and pest control (possession of CD4 pesticide permit a plus)
- Ability to operate golf course equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, bilingualism is an asset
