Golfzon Range by Leadbetter is a new concept in indoor golf training opening in Westbury, NY in early 2024. Our mission is to make golf easier to learn through blending quality instruction from David Leadbetter with cutting-edge technology from Golfzon.
Role Description
As a full-time Assistant Golf Pro at Golfzon Leadbetter Academy, you will be an essential part of our team, helping golfers of all abilities to improve, while learning your trade as an elite golf instructor through the Golfzon Leadbetter Coach Education program. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of daily operations providing outstanding customer service to golfers. Duties will include taking bookings, check-ins, membership sales and assisting lessons and group practice.

Golfzon Range by Leadbetter (also known as GDR Academy in Asian markets) was started in 2017 and there are now over 90 company-direct stores across Korea. This will be the second facility opened in the US, following the successful first location in Little Ferry NJ. The aim of Golfzon Range is to make it faster for golfers to learn and improve their golf game using the latest technology blended with clear and simple instruction from Leadbetter instructors.

- Strong golf playing background, college or elite level
- PGA/LPGA apprentice or other professional golf qualification
- Experience coaching golfers of all ages and skill levels
- Experience with swing analysis technology and software
- Knowledge of customer services and sales
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Evidence of collaboration skills within a team
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Passion for golf and a commitment to ongoing professional development
