As the Assistant Golf Professional, you will play a pivotal role within our Golf Services Team, serving as the primary point of contact for member, guest, and visitor inquiries, along with delivering a suite of coaching initiatives that the Club offers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries from members, guests, and visitors, both in person and via phone or email.
- Perform tasks as directed by the Golf Programs Development Coordinator, including but not limited to:- Delivering coaching/training sessions and instructing players as directed by the Golf Programs Development Coordinator, motivating and supervising practice sessions under the Golf Programs Development Coordinator and arranging entries into competitions for club members where applicable.
- Aid members with bookings, equipment and retail inquiries, and club event queries.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks in the Golf Shop, including answering calls, responding to emails, and processing product orders.
- Execute financial transactions through the POS system.
- Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager in organising club events.
- Contribute to a high-performing team by supporting various administrative and operational duties.
- The undertaking of club fitting and repairs.
Skills, Experience, and Personal Attributes:
To excel in this role, applicants for the Assistant Golf Professional should embody the following attributes:
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a hands-on environment.
- Qualified PGA of Australia vocational member or equivalent.
- Advanced certificate in coaching is preferred, although not mandatory.
- Proficient in Trackman and associated software.
- Proactive and positive attitude, combined with a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the MS Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as autonomously as needed.
- Previous experience in a golf services role within a private club setting.
- Essential familiarity with Northstar and MiClub programs.
- Expertise in Club Fitting preferred.
