Position Overview
The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is located on 6,000 acres of pristine New Zealand farmland and features 22 luxurious guest suites and a four-bedroom Owner’s Cottage. The main lodge offers sweeping 180-degree views of Hawke Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and Mt. Ruapehu.
The world-renowned Cape Kidnappers Golf Course was designed by Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf Design (Traverse City, Michigan). It features 18 spectacular holes, 17 of which offer ocean views—five are dramatically perched along cliffs that plunge 130 metres to the sea. The course hosted the PGA TOUR’s Kiwi Challenge in 2008 and 2009 and has been ranked as high as the 16th best golf course in the world by Golf Digest.
We are now accepting applications for Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional positions for the upcoming 2025–2026 season. Positions are available at Cape Kidnappers, and there may also be opportunities at our sister property, Kauri Cliffs Golf Course, if all roles at Cape Kidnappers are filled.
We would ideally like applicants to be available from September 2025 – April 2026
The peak season runs from October to April. We aim to accommodate applicants’ “northern” schedules where possible.
