SUMMARY
The Assistant Golf Professional is directly responsible for the service needs of members and guests through interaction with the membership. He/She handles the needs of all players ensuring that every aspect of their golfing experience runs smoothly and is enjoyable. He/She promotes the game of golf to players of all levels. In the absence of the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant Golf Professional answers directly to the First Assistant Professional.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
- Assist with maintaining the daily activities of the Golf Shop in accordance with the philosophies and guidelines of the club.
- Serves membership on an as-needed basis in all aspects as defined in the Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Conducts opening and closing procedures for the Golf Shop and the associated accounting and cleaning responsibilities.
- Schedules tee times for members and guests. Creates a tee-time analysis.
- Promotes the game of golf by conducting golf schools and private lessons to players of all levels.
- Performs club repair as needed by the demand of the membership.
- Responsible for the setup and completion of each member and outside event, which includes: using the Tournament Program to enter names of all players; printing scorecards, cart signs, rules sheets, scoreboard, and posting results and Golf Shop Credit.
- Working knowledge of modern Golf Shop IT including Golf Genius, Chelsea, GHIN systems, Club software/website & Microsoft Office.
